Dear Directors, Staff, Parents, and Students,
First and foremost, congratulations to each and every band that performed on Saturday! It was truly a joy to watch your hard work, dedication, and passion come to life on the field. Every performance reflected countless hours of preparation and commitment—not only from the students but also from the parents, directors, and support staff who make it all possible.
Congratulations to all who brought home awards! For those who did not, please know that your efforts did not go unnoticed. I encourage you to take the judges’ comments and scores as valuable feedback to learn from and grow. Never lose sight of your goals or give up on your dreams—you were all outstanding.
I hope you enjoy the moments I was able to capture for your schools. I do want to extend my sincere apologies to Kinder High School, as your band was exiting the field just as I was entering, and I unfortunately missed photographing your show. The awards and “Kiss the Goat” contest photos are posted at the end of the gallery, so please check there for additional images featuring your bands as well.
Your images are free to download, but I kindly ask that you do not remove the JCP logo from the photos. This project was a completely volunteered effort—from photographing and editing to uploading and sharing—and I’m honored to have been a part of your event. I was asked during the festival if I accept donations as a token of appreciation, and the answer is yes! Donations of any amount are always welcome and greatly appreciated, though absolutely not required.
